Tyler Lost His First Tooth

Tyler has had a loose tooth since Saturday. I explained about the tooth fairy yesterday and today the tooth was gone. Today, I noticed when he was eating lunch there was a big gap in his bottom teeth where the loose tooth used to be, of course. So, I asked him "how did you get the tooth out" cause I knew it really wasn't that loose. He replied, "strong hands." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

He is sooo happy it is out. He can't wait for the tooth fairy to come and bring him some money.

Ok I know I am talking to you right now, but I just gotta say that I laughed so hard at Tylers comment "Stongs hands". He really is Bam-Bam

Logan was laughing so hard he had to call me and tell me what happened. Ty's is too young for that, isn't he? Your boys make the funniest comments. How funny. I agree with Britt, he is our Bam-Bam.

K, so, how much is a tooth worth these days? This is the first time the tooth fairy is making a visit to our house. So, I just want to get and idea of what Tyler can expect. I think that we got a dollar or maybe less per tooth when we were kids. Tyler thinks he will get enough to buy a bunk bed. He wants the top bunk of course. :) I don't think even if you factor in inflation Tyler would get that much for all his teeth.

Man your tooth fairy was rich, we got a quarter I think.

Enough to buy a bunk bed?!? I don't think I got enough to get a candy bar. I remember once getting a random handful of coins, like a nickel, 2 dimes, and some pennies. Sometimes the tooth fairy doesn't have time to count.

Brett said he got a nickle, a dime if it was a molar. Makes my guarter sound like fortune.

I've heard of the toothfairy rolling their quarters/silver dollars in glitter. Leave a little under the pillow too... Tyler will think the toothfairy was really there.

He says the CRAZIEST things! Bunkbeds from the toothfairy?

I find it amusing that your child is pulling out his teeth and my child is getting his teeth. Sounds like the pulling out part is much simpler than the getting in part. Also, looks like his mom has taught him the value of a dollar. . . or maybe more than a dollar. :) So, what did the tooth fairy give him?

Tyler got three dollars from the tooth fairy. Not enough to buy the bunk beds, but he was happy with his purchase of two hotwheels and a pack of gum.

I loved the pictures of Tyler with a missing tooth. In some of the other pictures of Tyler it looked like he was pushing at his tooth with his tongue! He is such a joy to watch grow!
