A Week of Goodbyes

Our last week in Redding began with a BBQ with friends on Monday. Angela and Will Barnett threw us a wonderful going away party. Thank you so much!!!! Tyler and Chase loved the pool. I was sad to say goodbye to so many wonderful people from the Redding 3rd ward. It was our first real home and we will miss it tremendously.

The next day, I was invited out to lunch with the two managing partners at Nystrom & Co, Trudy and Dan. They were a little camera shy so I don't have any pictures of them. So, I had to stop by the office to get some pictures of some of the people at Nystrom that made it so difficult to leave.

The first picture is of Holly and I. Holly is a partner at Nystrom and probably the nicest person I have ever worked for. The other picture is of two of the staff members that I work with at Nystrom, Joe and Jennifer. They are so fun and I will miss them a lot!!!On Wednesday night, I got to have a party with "my girls." I loved working in the YW sooooo much and I will miss it a ton. I loved having a weekly night with the girls, since I am surrounded by testosterone. :)

This is my girl Kamie. She is an incredible basketball player and a friend for life. I wish we could adopt you Kamie. Thanks for all of the memories.

These are my Laurels, Missy and Christie. I am missing one, Merete, she made it a little later, she had to attend her brother's eighth grade graduation. They are incredible young women and sooo smart. I will miss you three!!!!
These are all of the Young Women and YW Leaders in the Redding 3rd ward. They are so sweet. They gave me a copy of this picture, which they all signed. Love you guys!!!!!!

Thursday, I got to go out to lunch with my two friends from Nystrom, Logan and Jennifer. They are both having girls. I can't wait to see their little arrivals. I am so happy for you both. I will miss you!!!! Thanks for all of the help and making it so much fun at work!!!!

oh, goodbyes are hard. But you're still close enough to visit every now and then. Besides you get to start a whole new adventure!

Those pics almost make me cry and I don't know anyone ('cept you) in them. Sad to say goodbye, but I'm happy you're here. I LOVE hanging out with you (when you're a good mood that is ;-) Everyone looks SO beautiful in those pics.

Kate - loved the photos of your friends and YW. You are such a special young lady yourself and it was fun to see "your girls" and your friends and co-workers -- The party looked like so much fun and Chase looked so happy. Looking forward to having you closer to "home" - you are dearly loved!

Are you officially moved? You'll have to let us know where you have moved! Good luck with unpacking now!...that part is my favorite though!

saying goodbye and starting everything all over is never fun, but think of all the new people you will meet and the new friends you will make and add to your circle of friends.
