On Thursday, I finally decided to go to Target to get all of the required potty gear with Chase. We already have most of the gear, but it is stuck in storage somewhere. I think this is part of the reason for the delay, as I HATE to spend money on things I already have. I am sure, if you have ever potty trained a child, you can guess my other reasons. As soon as we got home from the store, Chase wanted to use the potty. I wasn't really expecting anything, I know the drill. However, Chase went "poo poo" within seconds. I know this isn't normal, as I still vividly remember the Saturday that we started potty training Tyler. :( So, anyways long story short Chase is now in big boy pants and has been pretty much accident free since last Saturday. YEA!!!!!!! Here are a few pictures from his potty party.
We sang him "happy potty party" and he got to blow out his candle.
Chase gets M&Ms every time he goes potty. And since, I was a little concerned about Tyler's reaction to all of the attention Chase was getting, I decided that Tyler would get M&Ms too, for writing is ABC's. And Tyler, of course, is getting quite good at writing his ABC's. :)
I can't believe Chase is a big boy now. He still seems like my little baby. I am definitely glad that it has been such a smooth transition. Chase continues to amaze me.
I love his cute little bum. He picked out "Go Diego" underwear from Target.

Wahoo....Pooping in the potty! :0 Good job Chase!
YEA for Chase. I can't belive how big he is. We've been gone forever and it seems like I have missed everything.
LOL. What a super cute kid! Chase has gorgeous eyes. A potty party. . . never would have thought of that. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future. I doubt Luke will be as cooperative as Chase. Way to go.
Chase is so grown up. I am so proud of his (and his parent's achievement!) Way to go, Chase. The potty party was a lot of fun, too. I have the pics of Chase at his little table and then the "Go Diego" underpants. "Go Chase, Go!"
You gotta love that kid! He really is AMAZING! I'm glad I was invited to his potty party! He's such a big boy now! Kids have all the fun, I mean adults can't really have potty parties... they don't get money from the tooth fairy... You better tell those kids not to grow up!
My Ryan used to get M&M's whenever he used the potty as a kid, so he worked a system where he learned to cut it off mid-stream and milk the pee pee for as much candy as he could. He'd stretch a single trip into 3 or 4. The swindler.
