Discovery Park {Bike Ride w/ Grandpa Fink}

On Tuesday, Grandpa Fink suggested we take the boys to Discovery Park to ride their bikes. It made me feel a bit nostalgic because Discovery Park is where we always went on bike rides as a family, when I was little. Tyler was in heaven and sped off on the bike trail like a pro. He was a little upset he had to keep stopping and waiting for his little brother Chase. :) Here are the boys with their Grandpa Fink.

Chase was done after riding a little over a mile(per Grandpa's fancy GPS watch). Tyler kept on going. Here is Chase as he heads back to where I was seated. :)

Chase decided to point out the sun to me...

I told Chase that it would hurt his eyes to look directly at the sun and this was the resulting picture....

So funny!!!! Chase was a little bummed that Grandpa and Tyler didn't come back as quickly as he would have liked. Tyler rode 3 miles with Grandpa before getting too tired. :)

I LOVE b&w! Chase is SO photogenic! I love the biking pictures... brings back memories. We must have been on bikes half our childhood lives! No wonder I don't anymore, ouch!

You'll have to let us know what you guys are. Eric was trying so hard to figure out what Ryan was but couldn't put a finger on anything! Eric turned out to be an architect while I was a teacher!

We had some bikes
Because we didn't like to hike
When we were young
It was so fun

Ok, maybe I don't have the same poetic abilities as Summer, but thought i'd try and voice a portion of the memories that came out when I saw you guys riding down discovery park. That ones fun, I remember our 10 mile daily bikerides. Dad always had some fun game to make it more interesting too. One in particular I remember was the one he gave us a 1 minute head start and to catch us he could only use his lowest gear. He eventually caught us but looked like a cartoon character his legs were moving so fast.
