April, Ryan's sister, and her girls came for a visit all the way from Texas. Brittany, Ryan's other sis, made the trip too. April had an idea to plan a surprise baby shower for my other sister-in-law, Jill. The shower was a blast!!!! And the food was yummy too!!! You can check out Shauna's blog for pictures of the shower and the whole story. Of course, while April has been in town I was able to capture a few pictures of her beautiful girls, my nieces (Halli, Peyton, and Lexie).

Lexie, unfortunately, got sick a few days before coming out to Cali. So, she was having a rough time and was a little tired...
However, her cold didn't stop her managing a smile every so often...
Halli is such a smart little girl. It was fun to listen to her read while I snapped a few pictures.
I can't believe I didn't have more pictures of little Peyton. She is such a cutie. I don't know if you can tell but she has Aunt Britt's chapstick smeared all over her lips. She liked to eat it too. :) I can't say I blame her it tastes pretty good...

SO BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for making me look so good in the pictures, that doesn't happen very often, you must be an amazing photographer. Hopefully we'll see ya again before we take off! Chase needs to bring his gobbles out!:)
Those are so cute Kate! I think I like the black and white version of your niece above, becaseu of the way her head is halo-ed in light! And nothing says summer like some awesome shades (especially when they are on upside-down!)
Loved the first picture of Lexie and the Last one of Peyton! She looks like such a little Diva its great. I love how much Halli enjoys reading and she looked so content doing it.
You are such a great photographer, love the pictures you took AND I look SOOOO young in that picture playing with Lexie. .....WHAT!!! That's not me? You're kidding right? It's who? APRIL...no way, you mean I look that GOOD! FABULOUS. lol
