stand by me

On Saturday, we set out to run some errands and I really wanted to spend a little time scouting out new locations in Sacramento for pictures too. We found these cool abandoned railroad tracks in Elk Grove. How random right? The lighting wasn't perfect but we still got a few keepers.

This next picture just reminds me of the movie stand by me for some reason.

I took this last picture just so you can see that I am in fact part of the fam. I am just usually behind the camera. haha.

Love the pics, Kate. Such a beautiful family. Love the pics of Tyler & Chase on the railroad tracks and the one where they are hugging. Chase is such a handsome boy. Girls watch out. Love the pics with Ryan in them. The boys looks so happy to be spending time together! Cool self portrait, too! :) Always hard to get the entire fam together for pictures! Try a tripod next time and get the entire family and I'll put it on my wall! :)

those are great pictures, and you're right, they totally remind me of the movie. I wish we had cool places around here for pictures, I haven't been able to find too much. That's nice that those tracks are so close to home for you.

Great shots of the boys and Ryan! I really like the first shot... That shirt on Ryan and the different looks for the boys... really works well. I like the self portrait too! Nice! Now people will know that Ryan and the boys have a personal photographer/mommy/wife!

Ok, those are totally cool. They should definately be on a wall, or in a mag. The ones of all three of them, I mean. Very non-posed, very honest. I just really love them.

Wow, these are really great Kate. I especially love the ones with Ryan & the boys, I'm a sucker for a good Dad/ kids shot. Nice to see you as part of the family too.... I'm always telling Rick "here, take a picture with me & the kids, but I don't want it posed, I want it like this..." -he got me a tripod.
