once there was a snowman...

Christmas 2009, Grandpa Jackson delivered snow. Obviously, in Sacramento California, we aren't likely to get enough snow to build a snowman. But that doesn't stop us from doing it. :) Thanks to Grandpa Jackson the boys were able to build a snowman right in their front yard.

Grandpa Jackson really enjoyed tossing Tyler into the snow. :) Chase just looking adorable with his cowboy boots on. You can't tell from the picture but Chase decided to wear is cowboy boots in the snow...he is such a character.

Tyler was able get Grandpa back by pelting him with snowballs...

Grandpa and the boys working hard putting the snowman together. The boys weren't extremely helpful but they tried...

The finished product. Yup those are oreos for eyes...a carrot, which really belonged in the garbage it was soo old, for the nose...we had to improvise...and bark for the mouth and buttons...

What was the most fun, you might ask, definitely knocking out the snowman. The boys tackled that poor snowman like true linebackers. :) Thanks Grandpa Jackson for driving up to the mountains and bringing back the boys some snow.

That's so fun! Do you think Logan could bring us snow here too?

Kate! Happy New Year! I love these pictures and, actually, ALL of your pictures. They are fantastic. You've gotten SO good! Don't you love it?

Fun that you upgraded to CS4. I have CS3 and I love it. It makes a big difference. And about the actions, I mostly do my own (like those ones on NY's day are my own), but I also bought Sheye's and they are great. I used hers on the merry christmas post with the pictures of Oliver and Henry in funny glasses. I used hers on our family photos that Jade took last summer....and probably a few more that I can't think of right now.

Anyway, hope your new year is fab. Love ya!
