We were so grateful that Grandpa Logan brought this slide over. The boys really do enjoy it. Ryan and I love it too cause it keeps the boys entertained so we can socialize with family a bit.
Tyler would jump up and then go down the slide like this. I think he was trying to take Chase out with his legs. He succeeded a few too many times.
Chase started jumping down the slide. :) He reminds me of his cousin Halli. He is turning into a little daredevil. 
Aunt Shelley got talked into getting on the slide. The boys, Tyler, Ethan, and Chase, were ecstatic. They loved having an adult on the slide with them. They thought it was fun to all go down the slide together. Poor Ethan got the worst of that arrangement. He practically drowned every trip down. But he must have loved it cause he wanted to do it over and over again. Thanks Aunt Shelley. 
Ryan and I bought snaps for the boys to keep them entertained until it got dark enough for the fireworks. I circled the snaps cause they are pretty difficult to spot.
Tyler and Chase had a lot of fun playing with sparklers this year. Tyler had a minor accident, he stepped on a burning ember. Unfortunately, he didn't have his shoes on so it left a little blister. Chase was completely reckless and came close to burning himself numerous times. I don't know how cautious Tyler got hurt and reckless Chase was unscathed.
If you can't tell, this is a picture of Ryan writing his name with a sparkler. I think he did a pretty good job. It only took a few tries to get it right. :)

looks like you guys had a fun holiday weekend! I love the slide too, I've been trying to convince Kevin to get one all summer, don't think its gonna happen though. The boys look like they had a blast!

Those are some pretty sweet pics! That was a fun 4th! I don't know how you talked Shell into going down the slide, but now I'm regreting not going down myself... well, maybe not regreting :-) Next time maybe... hey we need some pics of the Soccer Super! You know, according to Tyla "Soccer Supers can save the day and not get hurt" & do really cool kicks (or dances, I'm not sure).
I love sparkler pictures. Looks like a ton of fun! I wish the slide was mine.
The day looked like it was a blast. Logan said they went down the slide at least 200 times, couldn't get enough of it. Very cool pics of the evening sparklers.
What a fun day. My girls would of had a blast on that slide. Are you all settled in? Is most of your family still living in Redding?

That's really cool with the Sparkler. The boys just looked so happy playing on the slide. Its so cute.
