We had a lot of fun at the Fink Family Reunion this year. It was in Redding. 5 of the 6 Fink brothers made it to the reunion with their families. We were only missing Uncle Scott (actually Scott made it to the first part of the reunion at Lassen). On Friday, we all went to the Redding Aquatic Center to swim and then we had a big family BBQ afterwards. I didn't get any pictures at the Aquatic Center because it was way too hot to stay out of the water for too long. On Saturday, we headed to Whisketown lake to swim and waterski. Unfortunately, there were too many fires and the lake was completely shut down. So, we decided to head out to Lake Shasta. Grandma and Grandpa Fink purchased a bunch of fun water toys for the boys and they had a blast.

It is getting harder and harder to get pictures of Tyler. He is so active. He doesn't stay still long enough to get a good shot. :)

We think Chase is going to be really tall. I mean look at his feet all ready. :)

Everytime, I asked Chase to smile for a picture this is what he did. What a little punk!!!!

Ethan and Steve had a ton of fun at the lake. Ethan was even swimming all by himself (he had the help of floaties).

Summer camped out in our vacant house with Bella all day (because of the smoke and Bella being so young). I think Summer got a little bored cause we had some blank rental applications and she filled one out. It was hilarious. The prospective tenant's name was Jimmy cuando. Jimmy had just been recently kicked out of a shelter and had no social security number.

Bella is super sweet!!! She is starting to make me want a new baby. However, it is nice to be able to hold her and then hand her back to Summer when she starts to fuss. :)

That was SO fun! Even with the mountain climbing that was required to get down and back up from the lake. I don't know how you and Ryan keep up with your kids, I am still exhausted from the trip. I don't think I've been swimming in ages and those boys really keep you treading water!
We were glad to have seen you for at least a little while at the reunion! :) It was a full house! Sorry we had to eat and run, but we enjoyed lots of visiting earlier in the day. Looks like the water was great. Wish we were able to jump in.
I hate that the fires have shut down Whiskeytown Lake!! My mom is totally crushed. Evening BBQ's at Brandy Creek are usually a Hunter summer staple.
Yay for Shasta Lake, though. Looks like a fun time!
Loved the great shots of the Fink Family Reunion. I'm so glad we got the "water toys" for the boys. I agree that Chase will be tall - those feet were gigantic!! Like Jen said the trek down and back was difficult, but once I got down, it was easy to get into the water, considering the heat!
That picture of Chase's big feet, is great, Must be a sign he's gonna be taller than his daddy.
