Follow the Leader

Chase couldn't stay on the sidelines too long. :) He still has the training wheels on his little bike though. But, we bought him his very OWN bike. He has had mostly all hand me down toys so this was really exciting for him. It is soooo funny because both Tyler and Chase didn't show any interest in riding the tricycle. They would never use their feet to pedal they would just flinstone it. So, I didn't really think Chase was going to figure out the bike thing. I was so wrong!!!!

I was actually able to get Chase riding around on his own before Daddy got home from work. I wanted to surprise Ryan. Chase sometimes gets stuck (pedals in a neutral position) so Ryan was trying to explain how to get himself going again.

The next three photos are less than a second apart (rapid succession). It is just amazing to see how fast he can go from happy, to screaming, to happy again or atleast contrite.

I think Chase's helmet is a little big...

Tyler was all over the place as usual. He was so happy that Chase was out riding with him. They only collided once. :) Thankfully, no injuries, Chase just yelled "No!" at Tyler. :)

Two kids on bikes. I am sure an ER trip is inevitable...

He is such a doll! Since my parents are here, they've been telling me about the boys, and I asked if Chase could pedal yet cause they said he wants to ride a bike really bad. They said he couldn't pedal yet...guess it was just the trike! How fun for them both! I know peyton wants to get out there with Halli really bad too...she's gonna have to wait though.

Two independent kids! They looked adorable this weekend! Looks like you found another way to tire them out!;-)

That's cute that they can go ride together. Last night we were at the park and saw a mom with her 2 kids out riding their bikes. It was so fun to watch them.

It is so fun to be able to watch the "boys" grow and develop and try new things. Chase is amazing as he figured out (with the help of mom) how to pedal his new bike. It was fun to see the light click on and how proud he was of himself and how proud I am of him! Way to go Chase!

Tyler and Chase are really a pair. I remember Kate when you said it is so much more fun for the two of them when they are able to do things together. It was fun to watch them biking together and only one collison - Amazing!

Hey, I want to get together with you so that our kids could play, and so that we can catch up, and so I can give you your boys toy cars back (I'm a lousy cousin, I know...sorry) I forget that you are so close now! Email me..rr_johnson04@yahoo.com.

They boys look like they're thrilled to be so independant. Isn't it wonderful to have a culdesac to ride in? Can't wait till we can push them down the hill here. LOL. No not really, maybe if they were on a skateboard.

Hey, Heard you were up in Oregon for the weekend, but I wanted to wish you Happy Birthday! I know it's late, but I really did remember earlier! Hope you had a good one!
