Apple Hill {Part I}

On Saturday, we decided to take the boys to Apple Hill. Our first stop was El Dorado Orchard because they had the train, of course. The scenery was absolutely beautiful!!!!

The train ride wasn't that impressive. It basically just went in a circle around the small pond and it cost $3 a person. Tyler acutally said while on the train, "this train doesn't go anywhere." :) I guess, it wasn't that fun for Ty, after just having returned from Disneyland.

Ryan took these next pics of the boys and me while on the short train ride.

We couldn't find a real pumpkin patch. I guess, "you pick" just means from a lot, not from the actual vine. :)

Of course, no trip to an apple orchard would be complete without trying the freshly baked apple pie with ice cream. YUMMY!!!!!

Tyler is getting soooo big. He looks too old in this next picture.

I LOVE sun flares. I especially like when I am able to get a sun star.

Grandma Fink and Tyler. Grandma and Grandpa Fink both made the trip to Apple Hill with us.

I LOVE reading your posts! So many of the places you take your kids are places I went as a child. I love Apple Hill! I went on 2 field trips there in 1st and 2nd grade and my family would also go there every fall. Do they still have fishing? I caught my first fish there. The pictures are BEAUTIFUL!
