Ryan and I went a little crazy carving pumpkins this year. I did the one with the bats and Ryan's is the scary face. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good picture of the boys' pumpkins. Tyler did most of the work on his little pumpkin this year, which was exciting for him. However, the boys both showed reservations about cleaning out the pumpkin. They thought it was "yucky."
My mom's work had a big recruiting event and they all had to dress up on Friday. She didn't win first prize in the best costume contest, but I think she sure looks FANTASTIC. :)The boys got their pumpkin buckets quite full of candy. It was unbelievable because they didn't trick or treat for that long. :)
Grandma and Grandpa Jackson came over around 8 pm to see the boys all dressed up. They had a lot of fun with them. Grandpa Jackson taught them how to stick a pen cap to their tongues and how to draw all over themselves and Grandpa with a marker. Tyler really enjoyed showing them all of the things that he has been learning in school.
Last night, when Grandpa and Grandma Jackson opened the door to leave, we all got to smell the delightful spray of a skunk. Chase still remembers the time when Sydney got sprayed by a skunk(not in a fond way). So, as I was putting Chase to bed, he said something so cute, "I hope bamma Jackson didn't get 'prayed by the 'kunk(ie skunk)." ahahahaha.

Oh, Kate, I love all the Halloween pictures. The vintage shots of the boys are outstanding. Thanks for taking such a great shot of me in my costume - cool colors :) It is so fun to watch these little Trick or Treaters grow. We love being so close to them and love them so much. Chase makes such a handsome cowboy - love the poses and love his eyes! Love the pouty face of Tyler....definitely reminds me of your pouty face in Halloween costume that your dad took Once Upon a Time!
Chris looked very beautiful and the boys were adorable. I love the vintage pictures. Sorry about winding them up just before bedtime, it's just something grandpa is good at. Sign of old age, I didn't smell no "kunk".
Mom not smelling the "kunk" is a sign of old age to!!1 hahaha
Kate the boys costumes look fantastic, and the vintage pix of Chase turned out really good. You could frame those and hang them in the house, (or his room). What a model!!
The boys did look cute and I think Tyler made an excellent Harry Potter. Its fun to see the kids dressed up.
they looked adorable! Tyler looked very authentic, I love the harry potter costume, where did you get it? Chase is the most handsome cowboy too, and I guess he knows it, from seeing the mirror.
April - I got Ty's costume online. The accessories for the costume, his wand and glasses, I got at Spirit Halloween store.
I love the pics Kate! Cood the boys get any cuter?! I love the vintage looks and the 'kunk story... I hope he doesn't learn his S's too soon... the stories are much more fun without them :D
Come on! Look at those pumpkins. So you guys are pumpkin carvers eh? I am jealous. Your boys looks so cute.
I love the harry potter costume. I would have liked to see Ryan in the same costume. Not the same size because that would be weird.
Wow, fantastic costumes! Your mom looks awesome. And I cannot believe those pumpkins! Kate, get out of here!
