Feeding the Uncooperative Ducks with Poppa

On Friday, we(Poppa and I) decided to take the boys to Laguna West to feed the ducks. We didn't anticipate that the ducks wouldn't want to eat our bread. The boys kept throwing in pieces of bread in the hope that they might lure the ducks to shore. It didn't work. :)

Tyler tried everything to get the ducks to come in and eat his bread.

Chase decided, since the ducks weren't hungry, he would just eat the bread. :)

Chase waiting patiently for the extremely uncooperative ducks. :)

Grandpa finally was able to use his football background and throw a few pieces of bread out far enough to get the ducks interested in the boys' bread. :) Chase didn't lose any time feeding them all of the bread he could find. The bread was gone too soon as far as he was concerned. :)

Grandpa and his boys...

It is always nice to have someone help me with the boys when on a field trip.

I love this picture because it is such a cool pic of the water coming out of the fountain.

These pictures are fab. I love the autumn colors and the shirts the boys are wearing really go well with the backgrounds. I like the picture of your dad walking with the boys and the picture of Chase "feeding himself" - I mean "feeding the ducks" and favorites of mine is the action pics you took of Tyler going around a pole. Good effect!

I agree with Chase though that who wants to waste bread. I love the pictures though, too bad the ducks would cooperate.

I love the boys in these! They are growing up WAY too fast! Tyler looks way older! I love the one of Chase near the water with the reflection. They're a little too good looking for their own good... You just want to squish them!!

You have such an ability to capture the moment and guide your viewers into the scene. I found myself sitting there and watching the ducks and the boys....you're mighty talented.

That always stinks when the animals don't know what they're supposed to be doing! I'm glad they finally came around in the end. As always, love the photos!

Brett and I had the same problem this summer with our ducks.. It's like they were being over fed my people and didn't recognize how good they had it... Ungreatful ducks.
