My little insomniac

Last night, we put Chase to bed at 8 o'clock, which is his normal bedtime. We had a long day at Apple Hill and we thought that the boys would go right to sleep. Chase had other plans...at 10 pm, he came down the stairs and announced, "mommy, me done with nap now." We just laughed and decided to take his picture.

Busted...

Ryan took Chase back up the stairs and preceded to explain to him that it is night time not nap time. He pointed out to Chase that it was still dark outside. Chase wasn't really listening because he heard a siren and yelled, "me heard that." Ryan tried to explain that policeman work at night to which Chase replied, "me want to be a grown-up." AHAHAHAHAHA. Well, Chase I would LOVE to trade places with you cause I would LOVE to be a kid again. :)

Adorable. Look at those eyes! I admit to enjoying the needed slumber that my children have allotted me, now that we've moved. :)

Soon as you are a grown up you want to go back... wish there were some way to convince kids they don't want to grow up SO fast! That was hilarious! He was so serious about finishing his nap!

Cute, cute pic of Chase and the clock - It's definitely 10pm not 10am :)
