On Friday night, Laguna 3rd Ward had their annual trunk or treat. The activities committee put on a Halloween carnival in the gym before the kids headed outside to trunk or treat. Ty and Chase had a total blast.
This picture I am going to call psychedelic cowboy. :) I have no idea what I did to get this effect. I know it was a really slow shutter speed and maybe a flash.

Grandma Fink and Harry Potter.
Howdy....Chase sure is working that cowboy outfit. The carnival really was exciting for him this year. :)

Their favorite booth definitely was the dangling donut. :) They did it twice.

Chase and Tyler had a hard time not using their hands. Tyler thought his wand didn't count though, so he used it to catch his donut once or twice. :)

The money shot. Ty finally caught the donut and wasn't about to let go of it again. So, we figured it was time to pull the donut free for him. :)

Chase just let the donut land right on his face. He wasn't quite sure what to do in the beginning and was getting rather frustrated at daddy and grandpa for holding his hands down. :)

He looks like a little fish caught on a hook. :)

Finally, Chase gets the reward of eating his donut.

Our sweet little cowboy. :)

Our fabulous Harry Potter. :) He ABSOULUTELY loved his wand. He had already used up a set of batteries playing with it around the house. :)

That Harry Potter costume is darling!
Well, Kate, excellent job on your post. I loved all the pics you took of the boys. I love Harry Potter and the Cowboy. Great shots of the trunk or treat night and the fish pic - wow what a catch! Chase is soooooooo cute and I love the Harry Potter glasses and costume on Tyler. He really looks so authentic!
What cuties you have! That donut looks yumm-O!
Looks like it was a fun filled weekend...Tyler looks fantastic as Harry Potter looks, he looks very mystical, magic wand and all. And of course how can we resist the rugged type, Chase makes you swoon....
They had SO much fun and SO much sugar this weekend! Yeah Halloween! How awesome are their costumes!?!
What a perfect costume for a kid who won't take off his cowboy boots. Looks like it was a lot of fun. Thank goodness for Trunk or Treats taking some of the freakiness out of the holiday.
So much fun! Tyler looks adorable with glasses, I love it! They look like they had a great time!
