Shauna and Logan let us borrow their beautiful home on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of last week. They were away in Utah for Thanksgiving. It was so wonderful!!!!! It was definitely a huge plus to be close to all the Roseville shopping. The house was absolutely spotless, as if we had rented it. Shauna had stocked the pantry with all of our favorite treats. She had bought my favorite candy "Nuggets." She also made sure there were all of the necessary ingredients to bake my favorite chocolate chip cookies. They made sure that the boys and Ryan had all of their favorite snacks too. Shuana and Logan even left a great foreign movie for us to watch called Vitus and the blockbuster card, so that we could rent another movie for free too!!!! Wahooo!!!! It was like a mini family vacation. :) However, poor Tyler and Chase kept running around looking from Grandma and Poppa and couldn't quite figure out why they weren't there. :) They were escatic when Shauna and Logan arrived home on Sunday morning.

Nice picture of the Jacksons! It was nice of them to give you guys a little vacation break! I know mom and dad's house was sure quiet this weekend without you guys... I got a lot of reading done! Thanks for the cookies Shauna!
Sounds like fun, even better to have everything you need right there, I need that kind of service! Thats funny about the boys, it is so confusing when people aren't where they're supposed to be, isn't it?
Sure, I can take credit for the cookies, but I believe Kate made them and Kate, you're so sweet to make my cinderblock home sound like a resort. Cause I couldn't see beyond the old dirty carpet and water stained windows. Thanks for babysitting the house, I always feel more secure knowing that someone is here watching over things when we are gone.
Just thought I would let you know that my mom is telling the truth about feeling better having you at the house while they were gone. She made a few comments to me about it.
The vacation seems fun. I sure look forward to vising the "resort" in a few weeks!
I love having little vacations, even when you don't go very far. Its just nice to have a change of scenery and just be with your family. Lucky you!
I look forward to having the little bakers here...can Grandma Fink come and help them cook?
