Fred

In elementary school, I played this little game with my friends. I thought Tyler and Chase might get a kick out of it. Fred is the stick figure drawn on Tyler's palm in the left picture. Ok, so what you do is you show your friends the picture of Fred. Then, you say "Fred is super talented at acrobats watch him do a back flip, layout..." Next, you toss Fred in the air and tell your friends what he is doing. When he lands in your hand your clap your hands together and say "good job Fred!!" Then you look at your other hand the hand Tyler is showing you in the picture on the right, below. And you say, "oh no look what happened to Fred. Fred is dead." Pretty morbid, I know. I don't know why we thought it was so funny. Well, Tyler and Chase thought it was hilarious too!!!

I think Chase was a little concerned about poor little squished Fred.

They had a lot of fun with this little game. It made me really nostalgic. I could actually remember the exact spot in the elementary school play ground where I was standing when I first did this trick for my friends. It is so wierd the things that we remember so vividly from our childhood.

I'm still laughing. Kate, that is definitely morbid. But, I can see why your kids would get a kick out of it.

Your boys are so cute! Hope you don't mind us peeking in on you from time to time. I saw your blog on Krin's. I just think this is a great way to stay caught up and keep in touch.

I remember Fred, and I remember thinking it was not funny when the person clapped, until I showed it to someone else and then it somehow became funny.
